Notas sobre el sueño Americano
La mejor arma de Estados Unidos es su publicidad. La forma en que ha construido una imagen de superioridad en saltando su poderío, su fuerza económica y su forma de vida. Este ideal fabricado en Hollywood y reforzado por los medios masivos de comunicación, sigue moviendo a personas en busca del sueño americano. Sin embargo uno no puede comprender la realidad que impera en ese país hasta que lo vive.
En este viaje a la ciudad de las estrellas visité San Pedro, un barrio de los Ángeles donde se concentra el mayor número de personas sin hogar, almas perdidas que viven entre las drogas, la locura y la resignación. Ahí la mayoría de la gente es negra, algunos latinos, ex militares y norteamericanos que en algún momento de su vida lo perdieron todo.
Su aspecto es desagradable, huelen mal, les gusta la pelea y serian capaces de cualquier cosa para obtener un poco de lo que les ha negado el sistema. Miles y miles de homeless deambulan por las calles de los Angeles y cada vez hay más. Ellos llevan consigo todas sus pertenencias que usualmente caben en una maleta un carro de súper mercado o una carreola usada, recolectan basura, piden dinero, veden droga, roban y matan,
Ellos están por todas partes, pero San Pedro es el lugar donde se concentran la mayoría de los homless, porque ahí se encuentran los refugios, auspiciados por la Iglesia y el gobierno que les provee de alimentos de manera gratuita.
Los Homless es un problema que año con año, en lugar de reducirse se incrementa. Ser homless es una forma de evadir la realidad, un viaje dentro de una pesadilla hecha realidad.

The best weapon of the United State of America is their publicity. The way in which they have build a superior image to extolt their economic power and their style of life. This dream made in Hollywood is strengthened by the media,and influence people who are looking to the American dream. However if you don´t live it, you can´t understand it.
On my trip to the city of stars I visited San Pedro, a suburb of Los Angeles where the largest number of homeless, lost souls who live among drugs, madness and resignation.Most of the people there are black, some Latinos, and American ex-military at some point in their lives they lost everything.
Their appearances are unpleasant, smell bad, like the fight and would be able to do anything to get a bite of what the system has denied them. Thousands and thousands of homeless wandering the streets of Los Angeles more and more each day. They carry all their belongings with them eveywhere they go because the storage facilities are limited in respect to the number of homeless people that concentrate the San pedro area.
There means of living from government is insufficient to accomadate their habitual customs,drugs of all kind, therefore they turn their attention to stealing,selling recyle cans and bottles and even if they have to kill which normally is a last resort.
They are everywhere in Los Angeles,but San Pedro is where the level of concentration is the highest due to the conduciveness of social amenities like bathroom,showers,free food and clothing.The church works collaberatively with the government in assisting the homeless with every possible social needs.
In concluding, homelessness is a problem that affect the country of America each year and with the reccession still crippling the society, job loss,foreclosures all correlate with been homeless.
